Racial and ethnic characteristics of the Citizens Voting Age Population (CVAP) are tabulated according to Department of Justice standards.
Posted below are three new Draft Maps (A1, A2 and A3) drawn by the Board of Supervisors at the Special meeting on November 23, 2021. Draft Map A was drawn by the Board during a Special meeting on November 16, 2021. Additional maps may be drawn by the Board in its December 2nd special meeting.
Also posted below are several visualizations prepared by staff for Board consideration. Visualizations are not intended to be draft maps, rather they are intended to provide visual information to the Board.
Instructions for Interactive Map:
How to view visualizations of the Board of Supervisors Districts using our online application
Step 1: Click the “Click on Interactive Map” button.
Step 2: Click on the “Layers List” button on the upper right-hand corner of the application to see all visualization maps. Turn on layers you wish to view.
Step 3: Click the ellipsis next to the layer name to adjust layer transparency or to move the layer above or below other layers.
Step 4: For additional information about the Districts on the map, click on a desired location or select the “Open Attribute Table” tab on the bottom of the map.
The Board of Supervisors reviewed 4 visualizations between 11/2 – 11/16. (see links below). The Board voted to make Visualization A their Draft Map on 11/16.
